***VBS***
JULY 8-10
Below are a few key elements:
Curriculum: “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” (full of fun, fellowship, faith formation and friendly neighboring…along with Mr. Rogers vibes)
Schedule:  Wednesday, July 8, 5:30-7 p.m., Wesley Hall: “Welcome to the Neighborhood” Intergenerational Potluck (light programming + good old fashioned welcome potluck for Pastor Jacob Lynn and his family). This is an event for the entire church family (and our neighbors, of course).

Thursday, July 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Youth Building: This is a more traditional-looking VBS day, featuring 2 full rotation schedules with lunch provided in between. We’ll also have snacks available both in the morning and in the afternoon.  The morning rotations will feature the story of Jacob and Esau reuniting, plus music and movement, fun crafts, STEM play and recreation.
During lunch, we’ll hear a story of Jesus asking Peter to take care of and love all the people Jesus loved…plus a bit of awesome music.  The afternoon rotations will feature the story of the Good Samaritan, plus music and movement, fun crafts, STEM play and recreation.

Along the way, we’ll learn that we’re all part of God’s awesome neighborhood, where strangers become friends and all friends know they are fully known and loved just the way they are!

Friday, July 10, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Wesley Hall: Grownups’ Night Out / Neighborhood Movie Night for Kiddos…we’ll have pizza and bevvys, plus movie snacks and a movie that highlights some of the characteristics we learned about during VBS (kindness, welcoming and being a good neighbor). The movie will begin promptly at 6 p.m. Drop off is from 5:30-6 p.m., and pick-up is anytime before 8:30 p.m.

Children’s Ministries

We have a committed group of children’s Sunday School teachers who love God and all of God’s children. We offer Sunday School classes at 10:10 a.m. weekly, featuring an engaging and theologically sound curriculum. In a 3-year cycle, kids will go through the Bible, hitting all the highlights while having a blast!

Throughout the year, we host special events for children and families.
